How to Create a Virtual Corporate Card (Admin/Card Admin/Super Admin)

Currently, Mekari Expense provides access to Virtual Corporate Cards that make it easier to conduct online transactions to support employee activities within the company. As a Super Admin/Card Admin/Admin, you can create a Virtual Corporate Card first before handing it over to employees. Here are the steps.

Important
To gain access to Virtual Corporate Cards on Mekari Expense, you need to contact our support team first at expense-team@mekari.com.

  1. Go to the Card menu, then select Virtual cards.
  2. Then click “Create card”.
  3. Next, on the following page, you can fill in the card name, purpose of card creation, card access holder, card active start date, card expiration date, card limit, and spending limit on the card.

    - Each Virtual card can only be used by 1 Card holder or card access holder.
    - 1 Card holder can hold multiple virtual cards.
    - You cannot enter a date earlier than the actual date in the Active date field.
    - The expiration date of the Virtual card cannot be in the same month as the Active date within the same calendar year.
    - Your Mekari Expense balance will automatically be deducted when you click “Save” based on the specified spending limit.

  4. Then, click terms and conditions to read the terms of use. Check the toggle below if you agree to the card usage terms and conditions.

  5. Next, click “Save”.

  6. The virtual card number will immediately appear on the next page with the status Active.

  7. Additionally, to help you filter the status of Virtual corporate card data, you can click the All Status column.

    - Activating: The Virtual corporate card data is currently being processed for activation.
    - Active: The Virtual corporate card data has been activated.
    - Failed: The Virtual corporate card data failed to activate.
    - Deactivating: The Virtual corporate card data is currently being processed for deactivation.
    - Inactive: The Virtual corporate card data is no longer active.
