How to Integrate Mekari Expense Virtual Corporate Card with Mekari Jurnal

After integrating Mekari Expense with Mekari Jurnal, you can then integrate the Mekari Expense Virtual Corporate Card with Jurnal. The virtual corporate card is a feature of Mekari Expense that allows you to load a certain amount of money onto it for employee-related company expenses.

A. How to Create a Virtual Corporate Card

  1. On the Mekari Expense main page, go to the Card menu.

  2. Then click the "Virtual cards" tab.

  3. Next, click “Create card” to create a new card.

  4. You will be directed to the following screen.

    - Click here to learn how to create a new virtual corporate card.
    - Under Card holder, select the account integrated with Jurnal.

  5. The successfully created virtual corporate card will have an Active status.

  6. You can also view the transaction list by going to the Integration menu.

  7. Click “Transaction List”.

  8. The Virtual Card you created has now been successfully synced to your Jurnal account.

  9. Next, you can also view the Journal Entry from that status by logging into your Jurnal account and selecting the Account List menu.

  10. Click the account name “Mekari Expense Balance”.

  11. Click the Journal Entry of the transaction that has been created.

  12. The resulting Journal Entry will look like this.

B. How to Deactivate a Virtual Corporate Card

If the virtual corporate card is no longer in use, you can deactivate the card. Deactivating the card will also automatically return the remaining balance on that card. Here are the steps.

  1. Go to the Card menu in Mekari Expense.

  2. Then click the "Virtual cards" tab.

  3. Click the “card name” you want to deactivate.

  4. Then, click “Deactivate card”.

  5. The virtual corporate card will be successfully deactivated and its status will change to Inactive.

  6. You can also view the refunded balance amount by going to the Integration page.

  7. Click “Transaction List”.

  8. Then select the Cash refund tab, where the remaining balance will have a Success status.

  9. To view the Journal Entry from that status, log in to your Jurnal account and select the Contacts menu.

  10. Click the account name “Mekari Expense Balance”.

  11. Click the Journal Entry of the refund/transfer transaction that has been created.

  12. The Journal Entry of the refund transaction will look like this.
