For Journal transactions linked with Expense, you can now add tags to help you categorize transactions more easily. However, make sure you have added tags first to the Journal account linked with Expense.
Here are the steps to add tags to Journal transactions in Mekari Expense.
Go to the Integration menu.
Then click “Account Mapping” on the Journal integration.
Next, select one of the transaction tabs where you want to add a tag.
You can add tags in the Jurnal tag column.
-
Choose the tags you want to include in the transaction and click “Save”.
- You can add up to 20 tags for 1 category/account.
- Make sure the tags you select are active and not archived/deleted from Journal.
- If the tags you select have been deleted/archived in Journal, the transaction will fail to synchronize.
- Therefore, you need to remove those tags from Account Mapping. The tags you added will then be visible on the Journal transaction like this.
And in Mekari Expense, it will appear like this.
That concludes the explanation on how to set tags for Journal transactions in Mekari Expense.
